AmChams in Europe 2025 Best Practice Sharing Conference held in Montenegro
The American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro successfully hosted the AmChams in Europe (ACE) Best Practice Sharing Conference (BPSC) from October 8–10, 2025, bringing together 54 representatives from 29 AmChams across the continent. Set against the stunning backdrop of Kotor, Montenegro, the conference provided a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and exchange of best practices aimed at shaping the future of the AmChams in Europe network.
Day 1: Operational Excellence and Strategic Collaboration
The opening day was dedicated to meetings and brainstorming sessions focusing on ACE Strategy 2026-2030 and the operational effectiveness of AmChams. The program featured two interactive groups, each designed around guiding questions to encourage the exchange of practical solutions and success stories. Each round concluded with a reflection on key takeaways to foster shared learning among participants. The day concluded with the ACE BPSC Gala Dinner, a highlight of the event that underscored Montenegro’s commitment to its EU accession goal.
In his address, Marko Miročević, CEO of AmCham Montenegro, together with Sanja Calašan, President of the Board of Governors, reaffirmed the Chamber’s dedication to supporting Montenegro’s European path. A fireside chat followed, moderated by Ajša Vodnik, Chair of AmChams in Europe and CEO of AmCham Slovenia, featuring Nik Gjeloshaj, Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro. The discussion emphasized the value of such gatherings in strengthening transatlantic cooperation and promoting a shared European vision for prosperity and growth.
Day 2: Benchmark and Insights
The second day of the conference centered on the Benchmark Survey Presentation and Discussion, offering participants the opportunity to evaluate individual and collective performance across the AmChams in Europe network. Delegates were also warmly received by Vladimir Jokić, Mayor of Kotor, whose hospitality and remarks further highlighted the city’s growing importance as a destination for international collaboration and investment.
Day 3: Leadership and Innovation
The closing day brought together the CEOs of member AmChams for the Annual ACE Board Meeting, followed by the Creative Network Awards, celebrating innovative projects under the #MadeByACE initiative. AmCham Slovenia was announced as the winner for its long-running #YOUng Platform, a 16-year program empowering young Slovenians to define and pursue their professional aspirations.
AmCham Armenia and AmCham Slovakia were recognized as finalists for their impactful initiatives that contribute to community development and positive change in their respective countries. The AmChams in Europe 2025 Best Practice Sharing Conference in Montenegro reaffirmed the strength of the AmCham community — one that drives a shared agenda from policy to advocacy, from innovation to partnership, and, indeed, from collaboration to celebration under the Adriatic stars.
