AmChams in Europe
AmChams in Europe serves as the umbrella organization for American Chambers of Commerce (AmChams) from 43 countries throughout Europe and Eurasia.
American Chambers of Commerce are non-profit, non-governmental business organizations – all accredited as representatives of U.S business in their respective country by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC.

Stephen Brugger
Since 2001, Stephen Brugger has served as the Executive Director of the AmCham Denmark, which represents more than 240 companies actively investing in Denmark and the United States.
Born in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania in 1957, Stephen grew up near San Francisco, California and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 1983.
He first came to Denmark as an exchange student in 1981, and returned in 1984 to work for the architecture firm of Friis & Moltke, where he designed and consulted on a wide range of projects in Denmark and the United States. From 1991 to 1998 he was a partner with Brugger & Nielsen, a multidisciplinary architecture and design firm with offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen. Stephen and his Danish wife Michaela live in Nivå with their daughter Josephina.

Daria Sivovol
Daria Sivovol is the Executive Director of the AmCham Estonia. During her 12 year tenure, she has been passionately investing her skills and ideas in the organization’s full re-structuring, re-branding and continued growth & development.
Prior to her post at AmCham, Daria served as Administrative Director for the Triangle Area YMCA, Inc. in North Carolina, USA. She moved to Tallinn, Estonia with her husband’s job transfer in 2004.
Daria is known for her leadership skills, ability to cooperate and work with various types of people and businesses, taking initiative and full responsibility for the projects she undertakes, and taking great interest in innovative solutions and new ideas.
Daria holds a Master’s degree in International Business, speaks 4 languages and is a mother of 2 children.


Alexandra Pasternak-Jackson
Alexandra Pasternak-Jackson has been appointed as AmCham Finland’s CEO as of September 1, 2017.






Mark Redmond
Mark Redmond has served as the Chief Executive of AmCham Ireland since 2014. Prior to joining AmCham, Mark was Chief Executive of the Irish Tax Institute, where he led a reform program that transformed the Institute into one of Ireland’s most respected representative organizations.
A graduate in English and History from Trinity College Dublin, Mark holds a Professional Diploma in Accounting (DCU) MSc in Education and Professional Training (DCU) qualification in Comparative Tax Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. In 2015, he was appointed by the Minister for Finance to the board of the Investor Compensation Company Ltd.











Patrick Mikkelsen
Patrick Mikkelsen has served as the Executive Director of the AmCham The Netherlands since August 1, 2012. Since January 2016 he has also held the position of Chairman of European Council of American Chambers of Commerce (AmChams in Europe).
Prior to his current position Patrick was Senior Spokesman for Royal KPN N.V. Before he held several positions in Dutch public administration and he was part time Lecturer Government Communications at The Hague University. In 2006 Patrick was granted a Marshall Memorial Fellowship by the German Marshall Fund of the United States. In 2013 he was granted the International Visitor Leadership Program by the US Department of State.
Patrick is a Member of the Supervisory Board of Cardiologie Centra Nederland (CCN), Chairman of the Selection Committee of the VVD Amsterdam, Member of the Board of the Atlantic Commission and Member of the Board of the Holland America Friendship Foundation (HAFF). Patrick holds an MA in Political Science from Leiden University.








Aida Casamitjana
Aida Casamitjana took office as the Executive Director of AmCham Spain in December 2012, where she previously, served two years as Program Director.
Before joining the AmCham, she worked at the Club de Madrid, the world’s largest forum of former democratic Presidents and Prime Ministers, as well as in the international expansion department at Mango (Spanish textile company).
She received her undergraduate degree in Law from the Universidad de Barcelona and holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the IE Business School in Madrid. She speaks 5 languages (Spanish, Catalan, English, German and French) and is the mother of 2 children.





Andy Hunder
Andy Hunder is President of the AmCham Ukraine. With over two decades of professional experience he has held senior management positions at GlaxoSmithKline and Ukrainian Mobile Communications (now Vodafone). A native Londoner, Andy was a TV presenter on a leading Ukrainian television channel.
Hunder was the director of the Ukrainian Institute in London and was a regular commentator on Ukrainian current affairs in the global media. During 2014 he was interviewed live more than 100 times on international TV and Radio stations, including the BBC, CNN, Sky News, Bloomberg TV, ITV, Al Jazeera and others.
He regularly speaks on Ukrainian current affairs and business issues and has held talks at the British Houses of Parliament, House of Lords, Oxford University, London School of Economics and University College London. Andy studied Philosophy and Theology in Rome, Italy. He speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian and Italian.
