After the yearly AmChams in Europe Executive Committee Election, we are delighted to welcome Mila Malairau, Executive Director of AmCham Moldova, and Peter Dahlen, Managing Director of AmCham Sweden, as newly elected Members-at-Large of the AmChams in Europe Executive Committee.
They have replaced the positions of Marko Miročević, Executive Director of AmCham Montenegro, and Emanuel Adam, Executive Director & Director of Policy and Trade of BritishAmerican Business. Marko and Emanuel have served as Members-at-Large of the ExCo for the past four years and were not eligible to extend their mandates. “AmChams in Europe community would like to express profound gratitude to Marko and Emanuel for their tremendous contribution to the ACE organization in the past four years, serving as members-at-large,” said Ajša Vodnik, Vice-Chair of AmChams in Europe.
Already before the election, at the AmChams in Europe Best Practice Conference, the ACE Board members exclusively extended the mandate of Ajša Vodnik, CEO of AmCham Slovenia, as Vice-Chair of AmChams in Europe (and therefore Secretariat holder) for an additional year. Furthermore, we are delighted to announce that Elias Spirtounias, Executive Director of AmCham Greece, was reelected as Treasurer of AmChams in Europe
As of January 1, 2023, the new Executive Committee will consist of the following members: Susan Danger, CEO of AmCham EU, as Chair; Ajša Vodnik, CEO of AmCham Slovenia, as Vice-Chair; Elias Spirtounias, Executive Director of AmCham Greece, as Treasurer; Daria Sivovol, Executive Director of AmCham Estonia, as Member-at-Large; Mila Malairau, Executive Director of AmCham Moldova, as Member-at-Large; Petar Dahlen, Managing Director of AmCham Sweden, as Member-at-Large; and Asli ÖzellI, Executive Director of AmCham Turkey (ABFT).
